We want to make sure you saw this: Mikie spoke on MSNBC with Lawrence O’Donnell about the deeply troubling testimony provided by a Justice Department official before the House Judiciary Committee Wednesday.

The testimony revealed the Justice Department succumbed to political pressure and “abandoned the rule of law” when deciding the sentencing recommendation in the Roger Stone case.

As a former federal prosecutor who served in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of New Jersey, Mikie knows our justice system is meant to be independent and free of political interference. Yesterday’s testimony before the House Judiciary Committee laid out how this Administration continues to undermine that mission.
