This is a dangerous move that has the potential to cost lives. Trump is
failing American families.

One of the federal government’s most important jobs is to keep Americans
safe in the aftermath of disasters. With our state at risk for wildfires
and earthquakes, we count on the federal government to mobilize
resources—that we pay for with our tax dollars—to respond to disasters and
help Californians get back on their feet.

California’s next governor needs to have the backbone to stand up to Trump
and fight for what our families need.
