Trump administration moves to repeal
EPA rule that allows climate regulation. The proposed Environmental Protection Agency rule would rescind a 2009 declaration that determined that carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases endanger public health and welfare. The endangerment finding is the legal underpinning of a host of climate regulations under the Clean Air Act for motor vehicles, power plants and other pollution sources that are heating the planet.

John—The Trump administration is rolling back yet another regulation that puts climate polluters over the health and safety of everyday people.

Trump’s right-wing agenda to put billionaires over a safe and clean environment began on day one when he pulled the U.S. out of the Paris Climate Agreement and doubled down on our reliance on non-renewable resources.

Before I got into public service, I spent my career working on the team that helped to deliver that very agreement—I know all too well that the climate crisis is at our door.

We need leaders who believe in science and know that we can reverse course on the climate crisis, but it’ll take intentional policy to get there. If you’re a climate advocate in 19125, will you pitch in and support our work today?

The climate crisis impacts every aspect of our lives, from public health to energy bills to national security. The handouts to big polluters mean handing our future over to billionaires who are willing to accelerate us towards our next climate catastrophe for their payday.

I won’t stop until we have leaders who put people over polluters.

Thanks for your support,
