The Democratic Party is up against a critical deadline in just four days. I hope you’ll let me explain why your support is so important in this moment, and then be one of 317 more supporters from Washington to contribute $7, or whatever you can, to ensure Democrats nationwide have what they need heading into the last full quarter before Election Day.

I want to be clear about one very important thing, John: November is about more than just beating Trump. It’s about flipping the Senate, expanding our majority in the House, and supporting down-ballot Democrats nationwide as they fight to be the change we desperately need. If my time as DNC chair taught me anything, it’s the importance of supporting competitive Democratic candidates for every office -- even in the places that people think we might not win.

That’s the precise goal of the DNC’s Every Seat Fund, which secures support for Democratic candidates at every level. And if our team comes together before Tuesday’s deadline, we can make a big impact on countless races nationwide, from the school board to the White House.
