For decades, the fossil-fuel industry’s fraud, misleading advertising, and violations of state law and common law have harmed our state’s health, environment, infrastructure, and economy.

Companies like Koch Industries and ExxonMobil knew their products were harmful, and they had a duty to tell us. Instead, they led a campaign of deception that hurt our state and left us with massive costs.

The fossil-fuel industry has gotten away with too much for far too long. That’s why I announced this week that I am suing to hold them accountable.
