FEC fundraising deadlines are always very important - but let me tell you why this one is crucial to our campaign's success. We out-raised Republican William Timmons for the first time over the last FEC filing period, and I'm sure that his campaign is scrambling to make sure that doesn't happen again this time.

We have a chance to out-raise William Timmons for the second straight filing period and send a powerful message about the grassroots support that is backing my campaign.
