An exciting, vibrant mural is being installed at Liberty Plaza in downtown Ann Arbor beginning Monday, Aug. 11 (weather permitting). The mural is the second public art and placemaking installation from the Ann Arbor Downtown Development Authority’s Elevate Program, which aims to enhance the downtown experience for all people. Once installation is underway, there may be intermittent closures in sections of Liberty Plaza or the park as a whole, as necessary. The city is asking visitors to please be respectful of the art and artist and to follow posted signage for safety. The DDA, City of Ann Arbor Parks & Recreation and the Ann Arbor Art Center all played key roles to bring this wonderful project to fruition!
