The August 16 March for Humanity in New York City is our chance to
take a stand in the face of the horrifying new escalation in the Gaza
genocide that the Israeli government has just announced with the full
backing of Trump.
Netanyahu's government has just decided to conduct a massive new
invasion to effect the full military occupation of all of Gaza.
Preparations are under way to send in tens of thousands of additional
Israeli troops to seize control of Gaza City, the densest area where
the devastation would be most extreme. Netanyahu, with Trump's
backing, then plans on expanding to every other part of Gaza,
permanently imposing Israeli "security control".
Trump wants to impose a new level of death and suffering in
our name. Now is the time for the people of the United States to take
a stand -- come to New York City on August 16 to join the march for
humanity and proclaim: we stand with Gaza!
The entire world is appalled at the mass starvation that Gazans,
especially children, have been subjected to. But rather than listening
to the world's demand that food be allowed to enter, Israel is
initiating a massive new military operation that would make the
distribution of aid impossible.
Trump and Netanyahu share the ultimate goal of ethnically cleansing
Gaza, expelling Palestinians to make way for Israeli settlements and
the "riviera of the Middle East". Top ranking Israeli government
officials have openly participated in events calling for the
colonization of Gaza. The cruelty of the Israeli regime and their
partners in crime in Washington knows no limit, but the power of the
people taking to the streets can force them to back down!
