Chairman's Corner: A Note from Chairman Wood

President Trump is delivering results that put America first once again.



Under his leadership, we have the most secure border in U.S. history. In July, border crossings hit a record low, there were zero illegal immigrant releases for the third month in a row, and apprehensions averaged just 148 per day. President Trump is keeping his promise to end the migrant invasion, deport criminal illegal aliens, and permanently secure our border with the largest investment in immigration enforcement ever.

Meanwhile, Democrats have embraced radical Communist Zohran Mamdani, who openly calls to defund the police, abolish prisons, ban all guns, and dismantle private property. National Democrat leaders, from Chuck Schumer to Hakeem Jeffries, refuse to condemn him — proving how extreme their party has become.

The RNC continues to deliver major election integrity wins. This week, we helped uphold Texas’s voter ID requirement for mail-in ballots, a key safeguard against fraud.

The RNC engaged in over 90 election integrity lawsuits across 28 states to protect the ballot box and ensure only legal votes count. President Trump is also leading on the world stage — launching the 2028 Summer Olympics Task Force to showcase American pride and secure billions in economic growth, and securing a $100 billion new investment from Apple that will create tens of thousands of American jobs.

We’re winning — at the border, in the courts, in the economy — and we’re just getting started.

Here in Arkansas, Republicans are leading the fight to protect children and hold predators accountable, and that was this week's theme. We passed Act 662 to establish the death penalty for child rapists, expanded online protections with the Children and Teens’ Online Privacy Protection Act, and gave parents the power to sue social media giants whose platforms harm their kids through SB 901. With Act 979, we ensured that those who were given gender procedures as minors can seek justice against negligent providers. While Democrats try to weaken parental rights, Arkansas Republicans are standing strong for the safety, dignity, and future of our children.
