Stronger Partnerships, Stronger Indiana

John,

Yesterday, Indiana welcomed Vice President JD Vance to Indianapolis for
productive conversations with Governor Mike Braun, House Speaker Todd Huston,
and Senate President Pro Tem Rodric Bray. The meeting covered a broad range of
topics important to Hoosiers, and our Republican leadership expressed their
appreciation for the Vice President’s visit and his partnership in advancing
our state’s priorities.

Governor Braun’s commitment to Hoosiers’ safety was underscored this week as
Governor Braun announced new cooperation agreements between federal immigration
authorities and key state agencies, including the Indiana Department of
Homeland Security, Indiana State Police, Indiana Department of Correction, and
Indiana National Guard. First outlined in his January 28th executive order,
these agreements will ensure that alien criminals cannot remain in our state
and that Indiana continues to uphold the rule of law.

As always, thank you for being a part of our team. Please feel free to reach
out if there's anything I can assist with.

Lana Keesling, Indiana GOP Chairwoman
