Email from Rep. Van Duyne Thank you to everyone that came out to the 2025 North Texas Job Fair!   Irving, TX – Thank you to everyone who came out to the 2025 North Texas Job Fair! This year’s event was unlike any other, we brought together over 500 local employers offering more than 35,000 job opportunities under one roof. From the moment doors opened, the energy was undeniable. Thousands of job seekers connected with companies from nearly every sector, including tech, aviation, finance, manufacturing, public safety, healthcare, and education. We spent most of this week preparing for the 4th North Texas Job Fair! It was great to be able to join The Will Cain Show live in Will's Dallas studio on Wednesday. Major employers like Bell, AT&T, Toyota, American Airlines, Citibank, and many more were all on-site, alongside our local school districts, colleges, fire and police departments, and small businesses. All looking to fill roles from entry-level to executive positions, and it was amazing to hear the real-time success stories of attendees getting interviews on the spot! We were happy to once again host a wide range of constituent services booths, including support for service members and veterans, and booths to share information about educational and workforce training. To start the event, I was joined by Arlington Mayor Jim Ross, Texas Comptroller Kelly Hancock, HUD Regional Administrator Ashlea Quinonez, and SBA Associate Administrator Lisa Shimkat. Each joined me in sharing about the economic strength of North Texas and all that our region has to offer. I thank every one of our community partners that help make this day possible, from our wonderful mayors across North Texas, to our Chambers of Commerce, who help us connect with even more people in their communities! If you attended the job fair as an employer or job seeker, we’d love to hear your story! Send us your success stories, pictures, or feedback.
