If you haven’t seen the news, we have a primary. 

I say “we” because this campaign has always been made up of supporters like you. I mean that. Your friendship and commitment to our cause has allowed me to deliver billions to our district, defeat Republican tactics to shutter healthcare offices in Connecticut, and resist their regular, repeated attempts to destroy and privatize Social Security. 
 
In a moment, I’ll tell you about this primary, our plan, and how you can help. But first I need to ask you to renew your commitment to our campaign. You’ve known me long enough to know I wouldn’t be asking personally if it weren’t serious; your help keeping us on track will be greatly appreciated. Can you chip in whatever you can today to ensure we raise the resources we need to win this primary?
 
I’ve made a concerted effort over the years to only ask for money when necessary, I’ve also tried to avoid asking for money during municipal campaign cycles like the email-farm campaigns do in Washington. You won’t ever receive 5 emails from me in one day. Or even 5 in one week, but I do need your support now more than ever. Your support will be greatly appreciated. I am in this race, and we will win this race. 
 
I wish that we here in Connecticut could remain focused on flipping the House and stopping Donald Trump’s agenda—which we will do and, believe me, we are doing. This is not the time for us in Connecticut to be divided—but rather for us to remain united!
 
Our Democratic delegation, when we take back the House in 2026, will be the most powerful, most influential delegation our state has ever had; Rosa will become the Chair of Appropriations. Joe will become the Chair of Seapower Subcommittee; Jim will become the Chair of the Intelligence Committee; and Jahana Hayes will have significant roles in Education and Agriculture. I will serve as the Chair of the Subcommittee on Social Security. 
 
This is Connecticut’s moment, so I ask you to stand with me one more time so that we can stop Donald Trump’s agenda and save Social Security. 
 
Putting an end to the MAGA agenda will take more than wishful thinking or waving a magic wand. It will take the kind of connections and experience your support has given me. This is not the time for us to give up. We must fight harder today than ever before. 
 
We can do this. We will do this. 
 
But first, we have a primary. Our plan is to meet with voters, listen to their concerns, and continue to deliver for the people of Connecticut. We will win, but it will take your help—and a strong commitment to stop Trump’s agenda and win back Congress.
