With less than three months until Election Day, it’s never been a better time to get involved. On the top of the ticket we have Mikie Sherrill and Dr. Dale Caldwell, who are laser focused on the issues New Jerseyans’ care about the most, whether it’s bringing down the cost of living, protecting access to health care, or standing tough against the overreach of the Trump administration. Meanwhile, Jack Ciattarelli’s campaigning proudly on the president’s price hike federal budget, spreading misinformation, and hanging out with extremists. 

New Jersey needs a governor with a bright vision for our state and the plans for how we get there. That’s Mikie Sherrill. In this week’s Chairman’s Corner, we’re highlighting her proposals to improve public transportation and how she’s fighting back against cuts to reproductive health care. 

Let’s also get to work electing a strong majority in the state house to support a future Governor Sherrill. Less than 100 days, let’s land this.

Promises made, promises broken: that’s the reality of the Trump administration.

Trump campaigned on bolstering American manufacturing but his chaotic policies have done nothing to help the sector. In July, the US lost 11,000 manufacturing jobs, the third-straight month of losses. This brings the total lost under Trump to 28,000. How does he respond? By firing the head of the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Not because they didn’t do their job, but because they did. And Trump didn’t like to hear the truth.

This reckless move is raising alarm bells amongst economists and even members of his own party. But not Jack Ciattarelli. He’s still Trump’s number one fan, backing him up at every turn.

Mikie Sherrill understands that our state’s transit systems are failing us. That’s why she has a plan to fix them. In a new op-ed, Mikie underscores the critical need to address the rising costs, unreliability, and gaps in access to public transportation.

As governor, she would work to stabilize NJTransit's budget, increase access to transit options, and continue her fight to bring federal funding home.

As Jack Ciattarelli’s campaign continues to flounder, he’s doubling down on his extremism, cozying up with a January 6 insurrectionist. January 6 marked a dark day in our democracy. So many law enforcement officers put their lives on the line that day to defend our constitution. Some even lost their lives, like New Jersey’s own Brian Sicknick. Yet, the company Jack keeps is one of the rioters. That’s not the kind of leader New Jersey deserves.

Mikie Sherrill Fights Back Against Trump Cuts to Planned Parenthood

Planned Parenthood offers essential health care services to New Jerseyans all over our state, from cancer screenings and STI testing to providing birth control and other reproductive care. Trump’s federal budget blocks Medicaid funding from reaching Planned Parenthood clinics. His administration has attempted to smear Planned Parenthood and spread misinformation about how federal funding is spent. 

Mikie Sherrill is leading the fight to protect this essential care for New Jersey residents. Meanwhile, Jack Ciattarelli is touting Trump’s federal budget and spreading misinformation about abortion care.  

Over the next few weeks, our different coalitions are re-launching in support of Mikie Sherrill, Dr. Dale Caldwell, and Democrats up and down the ballot.
