<p><strong>Avelo Airlines signed a contract with the Trump administration to run deportation flights for ICE,<small>1</small> making the airline a partner in the White House’s horrific mass deportations system.</strong></p>
<p>Avelo CEO Andrew Levy’s decision to aid mass deportations sparked public outrage, with customers, community members, and local elected officials protesting the decision.<small>2</small> Democratic Senators Alex Padilla and Richard Blumenthal recently raised alarms about Avelo’s lack of transparency about these flights. They also warned that Avelo could be aiding Trump’s <em>illegal</em> deportations.<small>3</small></p>
<p><strong>Companies must decide between complicity with the Trump administration’s horrendous policies, and taking a stand for justice.</strong> Avelo must end its complicity and stop running deportation flights.</p>

<p>Sens. Padilla and Blumenthal wrote to Avelo saying, “Given the Trump Administration’s mission to indiscriminately deport our nation’s immigrants — without due process, in violation of the Constitution and federal immigration law, and, in some cases, in defiance of court orders — <strong>it is deeply disturbing that Avelo has determined that its partnership with ICE is ‘too valuable not to pursue.’”</strong><small>4</small></p>
<p>A coalition to stop Avelo says this deportation contract is worth $150 million.<small>5</small> That’s $150 million to support Trump and ICE’s terror campaign against immigrants and communities across the country.</p>
<p>We must build the pressure on Avelo to end its support for Trump’s mass deportations dragnet.</p>
