I’ve heard a lot of BS from Congressional Republicans trying to justify their vote for Donald Trump’s budget bill.

I even heard some claim that this bill stops Medicaid dollars from going to people in Pennsylvania who are here illegally.

But here in Pennsylvania, there’s been a law in the books for years that says folks who are undocumented can’t collect Medicaid benefits.

So I have a simple message for the representatives trying to duck the consequences of their decision:

Cut the BS. You made a bad vote.

Own the fact that you stripped 310,000 Pennsylvanians of their health care.

Own the fact that your vote will threaten 25 rural Pennsylvania hospitals with closure.

Own the fact that you did all of this just to give a tax cut to people at the highest income levels.

And stop thinking you can get away with lying to the people of Pennsylvania.

John, I’m sick of the politics and extremism coming out of DC. That’s why I’m in this fight for Pennsylvania’s future for the long haul, no matter who stands in my way.
