John,
The Trump administration has taken a chainsaw to the most critical programs our communities rely on: healthcare, food assistance, Social Security.
But they’re not stopping there.
Trump and Secretary Kennedy have fired hundreds of employees from the Administration for Community Living (ACL) – the branch of the Department of Health and Human Services that supports seniors and people with disabilities. Now, programs that support caregivers and disability assistance are all on the chopping block.
Marilyn is not standing by. Last week, she led a letter demanding answers, accountability, and the full reinstatement of ACL staff – because our seniors and those with disabilities deserve better.
This move by the Trump administration is despicable, John. We have to hold them accountable. Add your name now to stand with Marilyn to DEMAND that Trump and Secretary Kennedy restore the ACL workforce and protect these vital programs: [[link removed]]

Donald Trump and Secretary Kennedy are sending you a clear message:
They do not care if you get sick, if you go hungry, or if you're left without care in a time of need.
And that has real consequences. For seniors, it means losing the support they need to age with dignity – like a hot meal, a home health aide, or a safe place to live. For people with disabilities, it means losing daily care, accessible transportation, and the support to live independently.
We cannot allow this cruelty to go unchecked. Add your name today to stand up for seniors and people with disabilities. [[link removed]]
Thank you,
