Video shows Department of Justice official urging Jan. 6 rioters to 'kill' cops
Only a few weeks ago, Trump's MAGA majorities defunded NPR, and just now, they released a scathing investigation.
FIRST: Jared Wise rioted at the Capitol on January 6, 2021 to overthrow our democratic elections. For the first time ever, NPR has published the footage of him urging rioters to kill police officers.
THEN: He was indicted and put on trial for civil disorder, disorderly conduct, and aiding and abetting an assault on law enforcement.
BUT NOW: Trump, in one of his first actions in office, pardoned everyone involved in his plot to overthrow our government, and has now hired Jared Wise as a senior adviser for the Department of Justice.
Trump is leading America down the road to fascism. He's silencing media outlets that report on his corruption and he's rewarding violent supporters by installing them in the government. PROSECUTOR: You yelled, 'shame on you, shame on you?'
JARED WISE: I did.
PROSECUTOR: And you meant it or you wouldn't have said, right?
JARED WISE: I assume yes.
PROSECUTOR: And you meant 'Kill 'em, kill 'em, kill 'em, get 'em, get 'em,' right?
JARED WISE: No. I think that was just an angry reaction.
PROSECUTOR: OK. So you meant it 10 seconds before and then all of a sudden you didn't mean it, right?
Trump is trying to wear us down until we stop fighting back. He wants us to look at how he's stacking the courts to rule in his favor and stop fighting. He wants us to look at how he's transforming the Federal government into his own political party apparatus and stop fighting. He wants us to look at his gerrymandered maps and stop fight.
