With less than three months to go until Election Day, will you split a contribution of $10, $20, or anything you can afford between Ghazala Hashmi’s campaign for Lt. Governor of Virginia and my reelection campaign?

With Congressional Republicans embracing Trump’s chaotic, dangerous agenda at every turn, we need leaders in Virginia who are committed to fighting back against their corruption and protecting the Commonwealth’s working families.

Ghazala has been doing exactly that for the past five years in the Virginia senate – I’ve witnessed it firsthand. I’m more than confident we can trust her to be a staunch advocate for our rights and freedoms as our next Lt. Governor.

Why? She has consistently championed legislation to improve the lives of Virginians – focusing on protecting contraception and reproductive freedom, increasing access to affordable education, standing up for health care and environmental protections, and much more. Not to mention, in a closely divided Virginia Senate, Ghazala could be the tie-breaking vote on critical legislation. That’s why flipping this office from red to blue is so important.

Unfortunately, Republicans will do whatever it takes to stop Ghazala from flipping this seat so they can expand their power in Virginia.
