The work of collective liberation is inside and outside, individual and collective, personal and political. It understands that the practice of unlearning is not just an intellectual pursuit but a whole bodied inquiry. It calls us to confront old and limiting stories/beliefs that we carry in our tissues and bones, disrupt and release default response patterns, question our attachment and addiction to the comforts promised by dominant culture, and to explore new ways of being and doing.
Movement for the Movement is a free form embodied experience designed to disrupt old patterns, release stuck energy and allow us to discover freedom and expression. Guided by our senses, intuition and creativity (and an epic playlist :), we will explore a movement language that goes beyond expectations and unlocks our creative potential. It will be an ecstatic and cathartic experience of the body, mind and soul.
