The fight is far from over—that’s why we need you to join us for Palestine Advocacy Days this October. Dear Email, Over the last few weeks, we’ve seen something remarkable: more Members of Congress, from both ends of the political spectrum, are finally breaking their silence and calling Israel’s assault on Gaza exactly what it is: genocide. From far-right Republicans like Marjorie Taylor Greene to progressive Democrats like Rep. Pramila Jayapal, elected officials are beginning to say out loud what advocates, experts, and Palestinians have long known. And just last week, in a historic moment, 27 U.S. Senators voted to restrict offensive weapons to Israel by supporting Senator Bernie Sanders’ Joint Resolutions of Disapproval (JRD). That’s more support than a simple ceasefire resolution in the House received just 18 months ago. We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again: the Zionist dam is breaking. But this shift in narrative didn’t come out of nowhere. It came from three things: - First and foremost, the unshakable determination of Palestinians in Gaza. Despite the oppression they’re enduring, they continue to document their reality, bearing witness to a genocide in real time so the world cannot look away. Their courage to remain rooted in their homeland and defy attempts of displacement at all costs, to say we are not leaving. To prove that no matter what Israel does, this is their land and they’re not giving it up.
- Relentless advocacy: from Palestinian-led organizations like ours, to allied progressive orgs, to people like you raising your voices again and again.
- Israel’s own actions: from targeting hospitals and refugee camps to manufacturing famine. As famine conditions worsen and war crimes pile up, Democrats and Republicans alike can no longer hide from the role they and the United States government as a whole have played in enabling this.
That’s why this year’s Palestine Advocacy Days (PAD) from October 19–21 in Washington, D.C., is so critical. The cracks in the Zionist dam are real, but it’s going to take sustained, strategic pressure to shatter it completely. By showing up, we send an undeniable message to lawmakers: we’re not backing down. Together, we’ll confront U.S. complicity head-on, demand an end to military aid to Israel, and fight for a foreign policy grounded in human rights, justice, and international law. |

This October will mark two years since Israel launched its ongoing genocidal assault on Gaza—two years of bombing, forced starvation, and siege, all with U.S. support. We’ve seen a shift in the narrative. Now, it’s time for that shift to materialize into real action and consequences. Words aren’t enough. We need votes, policy changes, accountability, and an end to the blank check for Israeli apartheid. We hope to see you in D.C. this fall. Let’s continue this fight together until we see Palestinian liberation. In solidarity, Americans for Justice in Palestine Action |
