“All diva, no wow.”
That’s how one anonymous aide who has worked with Democratic Rep. Jasmine Crockett described the Texas congresswoman, according to a report Thursday.
Another former aide echoed the sentiment, recounting Crockett’s preference for staying at home and her apparent indifference toward her team.
“She remains absent from the office and disengaged, focusing instead on viral moments,” the aide told the New York Post.
Employees under Crockett’s management reportedly experience frequent turnover, with many citing dissatisfaction and leaving their roles, while some former aides have abstained from discussing their experiences, fearing retaliation.
In a notable incident, Crockett is said to have berated a legislative aide to the point of tears, questioning their commitment to the position. Another account involves a young black woman who alleges she was abruptly dismissed from her role without cause.
“You would think working for a black woman, if you were a young black woman or a young person of color, you would feel empowered in that space,” one former Democratic congressional aide said. “But truly, the only person that she thinks about and cares about is herself. The staff is really just an island unto itself, because she doesn’t care about the local issues happening in her district. She's more focused on, ‘Get me on ‘The View,’ ‘Get me on this late-night talk show.’”
Crockett also allegedly forces a staff member each week to chauffeur her in a rented luxury vehicle for short trips to the office.

FBI Joins Hunt for Fugitive Texas Democrats
|
Republican Texas Senator John Cornyn announced Thursday that the FBI has agreed to assist in locating Democratic lawmakers from Texas who have left the state to obstruct a vote on a redistricting plan.
Cornyn contacted the FBI in a letter on Tuesday, alleging that the Democratic legislators might have violated state bribery laws by possibly accepting funds from outside groups to impede the vote.
"The FBI has tools to aid state law enforcement when parties cross state lines, including to avoid testifying or fleeing a scene of a crime," he wrote Director Kash Patel. "Specifically, I am concerned that legislators who solicited or accepted funds to aid in their efforts to avoid their legislative duties may be guilty of bribery or other public corruption offenses."
The Texas Tribune reported that groups associated with billionaire donor George Soros and former Texas candidate Beto O’Rourke are purportedly funding the living expenses of AWOL Democrats as they work against the Republican-driven redistricting initiative.

Top Biden Aide Admits Team Skipped Cognitive Test Because it Would Be Politically Damaging
|
Anita Dunn, a former senior advisor to President Joe Biden, acknowledged that his team declined a cognitive test for Biden due to its lack of political benefit, according to a report Thursday.
In her closed-door testimony to the House Oversight Committee on Thursday, Dunn said that administering the test would not have yielded any political advantage.
Dunn also revealed that the decision to decline a Super Bowl interview was influenced by findings in the February 2024 report by Department of Justice Special Counsel Robert Hur, according to the report.
Her opening remarks, which were leaked to the media, emphasized that Biden “remained throughout [her] interactions with him fully engaged.”
“It’s no surprise Anita Dunn is telling the American people not to believe their own eyes, claiming Joe Biden was sharp and ‘fully engaged,’” a House Oversight Spokesperson said. “This opening statement, leaked to the media before Ms. Dunn even delivered it, is yet another example of the absurd lengths Biden loyalists will go to defend his failed presidency.”

Netanyahu Plots Full-Scale Invasion of Gaza to “Liberate” Palestinians
|
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu expressed the country’s intention to invade and illegally occupy the Gaza Strip to expel Hamas and “liberate” the Palestinians during an interview with Fox News on Thursday.
“We don’t want to keep it. We want to have a security perimeter. We don’t want to govern it. We don’t want to be there as a governing body,” Netanyahu said.
Israel’s security cabinet approved Netanyahu’s plan later on Thursday, which will force out over 1 million Palestinians from their home.
When asked Tuesday whether the United States would intervene in Israel’s invasion of Gaza, President Trump said, “I really can't say. It is going to be pretty much up to Israel.”
Israel’s decision to invade and occupy Gaza may be foolish, immoral, and lead to countless more innocent lives lost – it’s all the more reason the United States should not get involved.
Trump’s instincts are right here. It’s not America’s fight.

Trump Admin Offers $50 Million Payout for Capture of Venezuela’s Nicolas Maduro
|
Attorney General Pam Bondi announced on Thursday that the DOJ and State Department are now offering a $50 million reward for information leading to the arrest of Venezuelan leader Nicolas Maduro.
The initiative to gather intelligence on Maduro originated in 2020, during the first Trump administration, when the DOJ first declared a reward for information on Maduro. Initially set at $15 million, the “historic” reward has now grown considerably.
“Maduro collaborates with foreign terrorist groups, including the TDA, Sinaloa cartel, and the Cartel of the Sons, to import hazardous drugs and violence into the United States. The DEA has seized 30 tons of cocaine associated with Maduro and his allies, with nearly seven tons linked directly to him, forming a significant income stream for the violent cartels rooted in Venezuela and Mexico,” Bondi said in a video posted on X.
“Ranking among the world’s largest narco-traffickers, Maduro poses a significant national security threat. Consequently, we’ve doubled his reward to $50 million,” Bondi continued.

Trump Taps New Federal Reserve Board Member |
President Trump selected Stephen Miran, his chief economist at the White House, on Thursday to temporarily fill a vacant position on the Federal Reserve Board.
As the chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers, Miran is set to replace Gov. Adriana Kugler, who will step down on Friday.
The role includes a key vote on the Fed’s rate-setting committee—a panel Trump has been vocal about, urging them to lower borrowing costs.
If the Senate confirms him, Miran would hold this interim position until January 31, 2026, allowing the administration time to find a permanent replacement. He also might participate in the upcoming Federal Reserve meeting on September 16-17, marking Trump’s first major appointment to the Board during his second term.
“Stephen has been instrumental since the start of my second term, and his unmatched economic expertise ensures he will excel in this role,” Trump said on Truth Social.

Former UFC Star Says He Converted to Christianity after Coma
|
He saw the light…
Former UFC fighter Ben Askren embraced Christianity after waking from a medically induced coma, where he received a double lung transplant due to severe pneumonia.
In a recent interview with FloWrestling, Askren recounted the moment he emerged from the coma and decided to convert to Christianity.
“There were multiple times where they thought I was dead. Like I was dead, that’s the other side,” Askren said. “I woke up and I just decided I was a Christian. So, that’s crazy.”
Askren described how, despite attending church with his wife for 15 years, he had never truly engaged with faith before.
“I went with my wife to church for 15 years because that was part of the deal. I said, ‘Well, I’m not Christian, but I’ll support you.’ And it was really weird when I woke up, I’m like ‘I gotta do it.’ You know? So, that was kind of weird,” Askren said.
He also expressed immense gratitude for the overwhelming support he received during his recovery.
“So many people have donated money, watched our kids, donated food, a lot of friends come and hangout with me – just so much gratitude for being around me,” Askren said.

Doubling Down on Insanity |
In theory, it should be simple.
There are only two sexes, male and female. Hospitals and creepy doctors shouldn’t give kids sex changes. A boy who thinks he’s a girl shouldn’t be allowed to compete in girls’ sports or use school bathrooms designated for girls.
Not too complicated, right?
Well, for Democrats, it is.
In one of the most high-profile culture war battles, Democrats are doubling down on insanity.
During the 2024 campaign, Donald Trump attacked then-Vice President Kamala Harris and the Democratic Party for swinging too far left on LGBTQ issues. And it worked. It showed Kamala is a radical who cannot be trusted to take care of normal Americans. But still, Democrats have not eased up.
In January, 80% of Americans said they believed biological males shouldn’t be permitted to play women’s sports, according to a New York Times/Ipsos poll. Yet, that same month, just two House Democrats voted for Protection of Women and Girls in Sports when it passed in the House, 218-206. A few months later, Senate Democrats killed the legislation despite its broad appeal.
Now, in August, it’s Nancy Pelosi’s turn to dig her party deeper into left-wing delusions.
Kaiser Permanente, one of California’s largest healthcare providers, recently announced that it will halt performing sex change surgeries for kids under the age of 19 starting Aug. 29. In light of the suspension, Pelosi told reporters Thursday that she will push for national action to ensure that mentally ill kids will suffer further abuse from ideological lunatics.
“That is something that I'm working for at the national level. And we have, can I say, are hoping that we can have gender affirming here for our trans kids," Pelosi said. "And that it's a sad thing for us. I don't know what effect we can have nationally with what we have going on in the White House and in the Congress. It's really very sad if you were there.”
Pelosi even said that her congressional office displays a transgender flag outside its door.
“We have the trans flag, as do some of our other colleagues. But that view is not necessarily shared by people on the other side of the aisle,” Pelosi said.
It’s also not a view shared by the majority of Americans.
The Democratic Party recently to sunk to historic levels of unpopularity. Nobody supports what they’re doing in Congress, and nobody trusts them to turn it around, should they gain majorities in 2026. Maybe that’s because nobody can trust a politician who doesn’t have the stones to acknowledge a basic truth.
If Democrats want to boolster their shot at retaking power, and notch an approval rating better than 32%, they should stop acting insane and start embracing normality and truth.
