Thanks to your support, our team in Peru recently wrapped up a hands-on training project in a modern cataract surgery technique called phacoemulsification.
During the week-long project our expert volunteers gave in-depth training to two local surgeons, as well as boosted the skills of 12 more through lectures and workshops.
Because of your generosity, 20 adults received sight-saving surgery. Countless more will also benefit from the improved skills of local teams and will have the chance to see their loved ones’ faces clearly again.
