A new poll from Cascade PBS/Elway just delivered a brutal wake-up call to Governor Bob Ferguson and his tax-happy Democrat allies in Olympia: even in deep-blue Washington, voters are sick of being treated like ATMs.

After just six months in office, Ferguson’s already underwater. Only 35% of voters rate his performance as “Excellent” or “Good”—worse than Jay Inslee ever managed (yes, really). A whopping 31% say he’s doing a “Poor” job, and nearly a quarter say he’s already underperformed expectations.

The #1 reason? Taxes. Because when you raise taxes again and again while Washington bleeds jobs and residents, voters eventually catch on. And they’re catching on fast.

Even the Democrat-controlled Legislature isn’t immune: 66% of voters rated their performance as “Poor” or “Only Fair,” and just 1%—one percent—called it “Excellent.” These numbers aren’t just bad. They’re damning.

But here’s the danger: voters still like some of the far-left’s ideas—until they see the price tag. The second they hear “new tax,” support collapses. That’s why it’s so important to break through the noise and expose what the mainstream media will not: Democrats continue to reach in taxpayers’ pockets to fund their progressive trainwreck.
