Trump has announced plans to build a $200 million, 90,000-square-foot ballroom in the White House, to be completed “long before” the end of his term. Who’s footing the bill? That remains to be seen… 👀
While Trump is trying to find an easy $1 billion to renovate his “free” jet from Qatar and squander $200 mil on his ballroom, his administration is stripping away access to health care, slashing jobs, taking away food assistance, and more. If it wasn’t clear before, it should be now: Republicans have a billionaire-first agenda that leaves our communities in the dust.
The Trump administration and its MAGA cronies in the House are more concerned with granting massive tax handouts to the megawealthy and making sure that Trump doesn’t have to live in the squalor that is the White House than they are with taking care of our families, our communities, and our children.
What’s next? Failing to keep his campaign promise to expand access to IVF in order to pay for a gold toilet?
