I'm having an incredible time meeting with Illinoisans all across our state. From Mt. Vernon to Bloomington to Moline to Petersburg to Marion, so many people are fired up and ready to fight for a better future. I toured a rural hospital in Benton to hear directly from healthcare professionals about how Trump’s “Large Lousy Law” will devastate healthcare in Illinois. I heard from Laborers Local 773 in Marion. As Donald Trump attacks our workers, I’m proud to stand with them, today and always. And look – I’m proud to be going to places in rural Illinois that you might not find too many too many Democrats. Because I know what it’s like to be counted out, underestimated or ignored. And at the end of the day, it’s the job of a U.S. Senator to show up and listen to everyone. There's nothing I enjoy more than talking to Illinoisans. Hearing their hopes, dreams, and concerns – and bringing their voices to the Senate – is what our fight is all about. John – thanks to supporters like you, we’re building one of the strongest campaigns this state has seen. But if we’re going to keep traveling all over the state, win this election and flip the Senate blue, we can’t afford to let up one second.
