On Monday, August 4th New Jewish Narrative joined with over one thousand other Jews to protest outside of Trump Tower in New York, calling on the Trump administration to pressure the Israeli government to get food into Gaza, end the war, and work for the release of all hostages. In coming together to chant “no more,” “enough,” and “let Gaza live,” demonstrators showed communal anger at what is happening in Gaza and demanded a more just future. The demonstration ended when police arrested dozens of protesters for blocking the street in front of Trump Tower as they called for peace. See photos and press coverage of the protest. |
