Folks, Trump and the Republicans say that tariff-taxes are about putting America first. In reality, they’re driving our economy toward recession:

FIRST: Donald Trump unveiled reckless tariffs on almost every nation on the planet, inciting a global trade war and instantly sending markets into a panic.

THEN: Trump negotiated so-called “deals” with other nations, often settling on higher tariff rates than before he returned to office. That’s not a deal, it’s just another tax on U.S. consumers.

NOW: Trump has tanked the U.S. dollar’s buying power, stunted the job market, and is continuing to double down with threats of higher tariffs if countries don’t conform to his personal policy agenda.

These reckless tariff-taxes are raising prices on Coloradans, crushing our small businesses with uncertainty, and making it harder for working families to get by. Simply put: this trade war is unsustainable, and it needs to end now.

But with Republicans in Congress abdicating their Constitutional responsibility and letting Trump push our economy straight into a recession, it’s critical that we re-elect John and take back the Senate in 2026 to end this pointless trade war and provide a real check on the president’s authority.
