** Science under attack at Plastics Treaty talks ([link removed])

The final round of talks for a Global Plastics Treaty have opened in Geneva, but as ambitious countries and organisations such as EIA pursue a robust deal to tackle the crisis, corporate fossil fuel interests seek instead to discredit the science and push for a weak Treaty. Discussing what’s at stake in the latest episode of EIA’s ‘What on Earth?’ podcast are Ocean Campaign Lead Chris Dixon and special guest Bethanie Carney Almroth, Professor of Ecotoxicology at Sweden’s University of Gothenburg.
