As Congress attacks the healthcare that millions of workers rely on, Trader Joe's can't keep hiding behind its feel-good brand.

The crew members who make the stores run--stocking shelves, helping customers, holding it all together--still don't have access to affordable, quality healthcare from their employer. Send a letter to Trader Joe's management telling them to guarantee health insurance coverage now! [[link removed]]

And while workers are winning critical rights like meal breaks and diversity agreements in their bargaining sessions, Trader Joe's corporate is still REFUSING to guarantee something as basic as health insurance. Crew members are fighting to see a doctor and afford medication, risking their health to stay on the job.

Meanwhile, Trader Joe's recently announced that they're expanding, opening 30 new stores in 18 states this year. Clearly, business is booming. Management is dragging this out on purpose--because they think they can outlast crew members. With attacks from politicians on healthcare and our social safety net, corporations know that workers are in a more vulnerable place, and they want to cash in.

This is a calculated move to deny workers the care they need while CEOs rake in profits—and workers pray they don’t get sick. My fellow Starbucks workers and I know this well. Last year, we went on strike when Starbucks did not come to the bargaining table with a serious economic package.

ENOUGH. We have agency. We have power. And taking action in solidarity across our unions is how we exercise it.

This isn't just about Trader Joe's--it's about every worker who's been told to “wait” for what we deserve. We're tired of waiting. Healthcare is a right. Not a perk. Not a bargaining chip. Not a luxury.

Trader Joe's can afford to do better--and we're demanding they do. Take action in solidarity with the Trader Joe's Union now! >> [[link removed]]
