Attorney General Kris Mayes is at it again— once again telling the Trump administration they can go to h*ll!
This time, it’s about FEMA.
Attorney General Mayes has joined a coalition of Democratic attorneys general to sue the Trump administration for illegally eliminating FEMA —an agency that both red and blue states have relied on since 1979.
Forget culture wars or foreign policy for a second—this is about basic human decency. Refusing to help Americans recover from disasters beyond their control? That’s not just cruel—it’s un-American.
FEMA is how families survive wildfires, hurricanes, and floods. We all saw the devastating wildfires across California just months ago—entire communities reduced to ash.
This is exactly why we need leaders like Kris Mayes.
Every time the Trump administration makes an illegal or corrupt move, you can count on Mayes to hit back with a lawsuit. She’s one of the most active Democrats in the country when it comes to standing up to Trump’s authoritarian agenda.
We need to make sure she wins re-election —not just to keep protecting Arizonans, but to keep being a thorn in the side of Trump and his cronies all the way through 2028.
