Team, since I launched my campaign at the start of June, it has been a thrilling summer here in Colorado’s 8th Congressional District!
I’ve had such a great time meeting with local leaders, supporting our workers, and attending some fantastic events and get-togethers happening throughout our community. Below are a few photos from my summer so far! |

Big thanks to everyone who came out to our campaign kick-off party in Greeley! It was a fantastic time, and I’m eager to keep our momentum going. |
Juneteenth 2025 at the Marcus Garvey Cultural Center at UNC was great fun. I caught up with my friend Andy Feinstein, the President of UNC, and saw an excellent performance by Tony Exum, Jr. |
I was proud to support striking UFCW Local 7 members at the Bittersweet and Centerplace Safeway locations in Greeley. Workers at over 40 Safeway stores and distribution centers went on strike for fair pay and better working conditions. |
Recently, I spoke with AFSCME leaders, Denver city employees, and Stronger Denver to support collective bargaining for Denver workers. As a lifelong public servant and former union president, I know that our community is stronger when workers have a voice. |

| For over two decades, Dave has served our communities as a teacher, union leader, State Representative, and now Treasurer—fighting for working families, public schools, and a fairer economy.
Now he’s running to defeat Gabe Evans and bring experienced leadership to the people of Colorado’s 8th Congressional District today. If you’re ready to join us, donate today. |
