This is not a drill.

Texas Senator John Cornyn just announced that, at Donald Trump’s urging, the FBI is actively assisting Texas law enforcement in tracking down Democratic lawmakers who fled the state to block a MAGA redistricting scheme.

Texas Republicans are trying to ram through a radical gerrymandering plan that would add five new seats to help MAGA keep control of Congress in the 26’ midterms. When Democrats walked out to deny them a quorum, Trump loyalist and FBI Director Kash Patel authorized federal agents to help hunt them down.

This is what authoritarianism looks like.

Senator Cornyn even bragged about it: “Thank you Director Patel for your swift response & action!”

Trump isn’t just trying to rig the next election—he’s using the FBI to do it in plain sight.

This is an autocrat abusing his power. And it’s exactly why we need a progressive media network with a large enough reach to call it what it is.
