Last chance to provide feedback on electric vehicle charging draft program design
Stakeholders encouraged to provide feedback on $19 million electric vehicle charging program
Commerce is requesting public feedback on the $19.4 million in planned investments in electric vehicle (EV) charging projects.
August 8 is your last chance to provide public feedback on the program design.
View the draft program documents (Box) to learn more about proposed eligibility, grant amounts, scoring criteria and requirements.
Here's how to provide feedback:
Disclaimer Commerce is publishing a Draft Program Design to receive feedback before making final decisions. All information provided during the feedback phase is subject to change in the Request for Applications (RFA), tentatively scheduled to open in September. All consideration of applications, evaluation, and awards will be based on the RFA and not the Draft Program Design. Visit the EV charging program webpage to learn more about the program.
Climate Commitment Act Funding for the Washington Electric Vehicle Charging Program (WAEVCP) comes from the Climate Commitment Act and will add to the $98 million in existing grants already supporting the installation of more than 5,000 charging ports across the state. The upcoming RFA will be the program’s second round, adding $19.4 million in competitive awards.
