For generations, America has welcomed immigrants who have abided by our laws and come to America legally. Unfortunately, because of far-left progressive policies put in place by Democrats, it is more advantageous for people to come to America by illegally crossing our borders, and then taking advantage of our very generous taxpayer-provided benefits– and some, while collecting these benefits, are plotting to hurt Americans and America.
Now, President Trump is taking decisive action to convince states to stop using taxpayer funds to promote more illegal immigration at the expense of the very taxpayers who are paying for these programs. When asked, Governor Lamont supported providing healthcare to illegal migrants—at a time when many of our own citizens still lack healthcare.
At the CT GOP, we stand up for American taxpayers and citizens. Only American citizens and lawful taxpayers should benefit from public funds provided by taxpayers.
