So it’s a good thing He joined Maya May for this week’s episode of Punching Up! This was a rollercoaster of emotions — it was hilarious and dark and brooding and really thought-provoking all at the same time. It was omni-emotional, if you will.

They are a grotesque reminder that, as hard as we push up against this regime, they are pushing back, and they have the benefit of pushing from the top.
This is why we’re Punching Up, and never punching down. MAGA targets those of us who have the least — least wealth, least stature, least safety. It’s the impulse to punch down that gets you illustrations like the camo-clad dad and his Hitler Youth son in full tactical gear on a poster issued by our own government.

And, look. If we were in a position of power, I would hope that we still wouldn’t punch down. That’s not the America we hope to live in, right?
