Sebastian had a tough journey, enduring two bone marrow transplants and rounds of chemotherapy that resulted in profound hearing loss. Then, he learned he would receive a wish! His wish for a backyard playset is helping him to regain his muscle strength and create happy memories after so much time in the hospital.

“It is the perfect wish, he can go out and play whenever he wants, even in his pajamas. Sebastian’s wish gave back his childhood,” said his mom, Melissa.

A wish changes everything for a wish kid – replacing fear with hope. A wish is a chance to escape, reset and believe that anything is possible. It’s a transformative experience that gives kids the strength and resilience to fight and even overcome their critical illnesses.
