Earlier today, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton launched an investigation
into Powered by People.

Why? Because we’re standing with the lawmakers who left Texas to fight for
our democracy.

Donald Trump and Greg Abbott are trying to redraw Texas’ congressional
maps to steal five Democratic-held seats in Congress. And now Ken
Paxton—the same guy impeached for bribery—is going after the people trying
to save our democracy from these thugs.

Texas Democrats left the state to stop Republicans from stealing our
country. Now more than ever, they need to know we have their backs.

Republicans are going to do everything they can to slow us down,
intimidate us, and scare us into silence.
