Dear Jack,

An illegal immigrant—deported six times—attempted to run over federal agents during an ICE operation in Colorado Springs. And he’s still on the loose.

To make matters worse, an anti-ICE group—the Colorado Rapid Response Network—tried to disrupt the operation. Radical organizations like this are exactly why our federal immigration officers are under assault while bravely doing their jobs to protect the American people.

Jose Mendez-Chavez, a 31-year-old illegal migrant from Mexico, has a violent history with prior convictions for child abuse and domestic violence. His arrest record includes:
* August 2020: Reckless Endangerment – Texas
* January 2020: Child Abuse – Colorado
* July 2013: Domestic Violence – Ohio

This is why President Trump launched his deportation program. The media tries to paint every deportation as inhumane, but Mendez-Chavez is one of many criminal illegal immigrants—murderers, child abusers, drug dealers, and child molesters—who are here unlawfully.

We need to know who is in our country to keep America safe.

The Biden administration’s open border policies allowed over 12 million illegal immigrants to enter the United States. If Biden were still in charge, we wouldn’t even know Mendez-Chavez was here.

Thankfully, President Trump is cleaning up the mess left behind by Joe Biden and Border Czar Kamala Harris.

Here’s a snapshot of what the Trump administration has accomplished at the border in 2025:

✅Daily border encounters down 95% since President Trump took office

✅139k illegal immigrants deported

✅Catch and release ended: only 9 illegals released into the U.S.—a 99.99% decrease from the Biden administration

✅232,000 pounds of fentanyl and other deadly drugs seized at the border

Congressional Republicans have delivered real results by fully funding ICE, CBP, and Border Patrol to protect our communities and deport criminals like Jose Mendez-Chavez.

But we can’t afford to let up now.

Gavin Newsom is trying to rig the 2026 election by eliminating congressional Republican seats in California. We must protect our majority and stop radical leftists like AOC and Jasmine Crockett from dismantling the America First Agenda.
