This week we commemorate the 80th
anniversary of the dropping of atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki,
Japan. Both bombings created devastation, and brought the world no
closer to peace. And yet the lessons of that tragedy appear not to
have been learned. Other crises also continue all around the
world.
What do you do in a period of such
confusion and disorientation? Where there’s no clear and obvious
pathway to end wars, to stop genocide in Gaza, to convince ‘the powers
that be’ to do the right thing?
You create initiatives,
interventions into the unfolding process that can force the whole
thing to transform. This week the LaRouche movement went full-speed on
several critical initiatives.
