Hi, John – Team Fetterman here.
Look – we get it. Tapping your phone or card to pay is easy. No one’s mad about that.
But here’s the deal:
👉 Not everyone has a bank account. 👉 Not everyone wants one. 👉 And no one should be forced to use one just to buy milk.
That’s why John introduced the Payment Choice Act.
It says: If you’re doing business in America, you take American cash. Period.
Cash is legal tender. You earn it, you spend it.
No brick-and-mortar business should be allowed to turn you away for using it. 🤷
We've been seeing some “card only” signs in storefront windows, so we want to hear from you. Will you take 10 seconds to be one of the 5,000 responses we need? >>
Should businesses have to take cash?
Thanks for sharing what you think,
Team Fetterman 💛
