NBC News: Corporation for Public Broadcasting says it will shut down after Congress cut money

– Without the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, rural populations will be disproportionately impacted and forced to close local stations.

– Platforms like NPR and PBS are supported by the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. They’re vital to Democracy – which is exactly why Trump wants them gone!

– Now Trump is trying to silence and suppress the free press and control our access to the news. This is not healthy for a strong democracy.
