Republicans love to say they’re cutting “government waste” but last month, they voted to reward billionaires with tax breaks — while gutting funding for public media.

Let that sink in.

They’re fine handing taxpayer dollars to the ultra-wealthy. But when it comes to PBS, NPR, local radio, and educational programming for families? Suddenly that’s where they draw the line.

Public broadcasting is one of the few places families can turn for trusted news, emergency alerts, and educational programming that’s actually good for kids. And for rural communities in North Carolina and across the country, it’s often the only option.

And now, it’s been defunded.

Public media isn’t waste — it’s a lifeline. And we’re not going to sit back while they try to tear it down.

We’re fighting to protect the programs and services that working families in NC-02 and across the country rely on — but we can’t do it alone.

If you believe in truth, access, and a government that works for the people, will you chip in $10 now to help us stand up for public media and working families in NC-02?
