John —

Sixty years ago today, President Lyndon B. Johnson signed the Voting Rights Act into law — a landmark victory for fairness, justice, and the courage of everyday Americans who demanded their voices be heard.

As a nurse, a public health leader, and your Lieutenant Governor, I’ve seen firsthand how our democracy depends on every voice counting — no matter their background, zip code, or political party. I believe, as I always have, that standing up for what’s right takes more than words. It takes courage. It takes putting country over politics and partisanship.

But today, the promise of the Voting Rights Act is under threat. Politicians and special interests are still trying to make it harder to access the ballot box. Recent court decisions have gutted protections so many fought — and even died — for.

I’m committed to carrying the torch of those who fought for the VRA. But I can’t do it alone. Will you make a special contribution today to help us stand up for what’s right?

I’m running for Governor because I believe our democracy is strongest when everyone can participate. I’ll never stop fighting to build a Wisconsin where every family has a fair shot. That’s why I’m asking you to join me — not just to remember the history we share, but to make new history together.

Will you donate $6, $60, or whatever you can today to help us protect the right to vote for the next 60 years? Our democracy depends on us.

Standing up for what’s right isn’t always easy. But together, we can move Wisconsin forward — with courage, fairness, and justice for all.

Thank you for believing in Wisconsin — and in our democracy.

With hope,

Sara
