This week, a group of Republican senators introduced a bill named after me – the LETITIA Act.
This bill uses the same kind of language Trump uses. And it's just the latest in a string of political attacks meant to punish me for holding Trump accountable.

Make no mistake: These attacks are not just personal. They are dangerous.
They are meant to send a message – that any public official who challenges the powerful will be smeared, discredited, and threatened.

I want to make one thing absolutely clear: These efforts to attack and distract me from my work will not succeed. I will continue to hold the far-right, including Donald Trump, accountable for their cruel and unconstitutional attempts to upend our rights, our freedoms, and our democracy. And if that means facing political retaliation, so be it.
