This is vital because Labour has failed to live up to the promise of change that our country so desperately needs.
From failing to ‘scrap the cap’ and lift hundreds of thousands of children out of poverty, to cutting support for disabled people, and backing airport expansion that flies in the face of climate science.
From giving developers the green light to bulldoze precious nature, selling weapon parts to commit war crimes in Gaza, and attacks on our fundamental rights to protest.
Time and again, Greens have shone a spotlight on what the Government is doing wrong.
And where change has come for the better, we have been front and centre of the push to do the right thing.
This year has been all about laying the foundations. Because if one thing is clear it’s that two party politics is over.
That could mean our next big breakthrough, putting environmental, economic and social justice permanently at the heart of politics.
Or it could mean we go down a road where democracy is eroded further, the press silenced, and a Trump wannabee in number 10, all enabled by a Government drifting to the right.
So let’s blow the roof off! Whether it’s wealth taxes, climate jobs, reimagining the economy to deliver wellbeing rather than chasing infinite growth, building homes fit for the future, free social care and universal childcare or simply the intrinsic importance of dignity, compassion and hope.
John, it's time for Greens to lead the way. With your help the sky's the limit.
