Dean will never take a dime from special interests, lobbyists, or PACs. In fact, one of the reasons he ran for Congress was to end their influence on our politics. It's a worthy mission, but a risky one. It means that powerful groups have their eyes on Dean as they look to flip seats this year and keep Congress under their thumb.
