At the end of this email, I’m going to ask you to join me in supporting George Whitesides with a
$3 donation. But before I do, I want to explain exactly what makes our fight so important.
I’m criss-crossing the country, meeting with folks across the political spectrum.
One thing that I’m noticing? People are tired. Tired of being cast aside in our political system, tired of broken promises in Washington.
It’s what makes the actions of the Trump White House so infuriating. This administration doesn’t care about getting results for working families, they only care about furthering a harmful political agenda.
Here’s the good news:
There are folks in Washington who are fighting back and standing up to the constant attacks. Leaders like George Whitesides who are putting the working people of this country first – not the special interests.
Another piece of good news is that Democrats are a stone’s throw away from taking control of the House majority – giving them the ability to stop the current circus in its tracks and provide accountability on Trump.
Only three seats stand in the way. Keeping seats like George’s in CA-27 in our column is the ONLY way it works.
So today, I’m asking you to contribute $3 or any amount you’re comfortable with to keep George in Congress. He was one of the few Democrats who flipped a red seat back in November, and it put a target on his back.
