Hey there – I wanted to share some exciting news with you today.

Win the Era just filed our first public fundraising report of the year, and the numbers tell a story about the movement we’re building here, together: we had 41,034 unique donors, and 93 percent of those donors were first-time givers.

When I launched this organization five years ago, it was with a clear purpose: to lift up leaders and ideas grounded in decency, belonging, and bold hope for the future. I said that we were living through a moment that would define our country for the rest of our lives. I believed then – as I still do now – that we needed to support leaders who reflect the values that brought so many of us together in the first place.

Obviously, a lot has changed in five years – but these principles and values are more urgent today than they were before. 

We can’t – and shouldn’t – go back to the way things were then or at any other time in our past. This moment demands a commitment to the future.

That’s why Win the Era continues in our work – not just to oppose the cruelty and chaos we see from those now in charge, but to offer a real alternative, grounded in values, built on action, and committed to a better kind of politics.
