So many women and girls in Gaza and the West Bank are living the harsh reality of facing their period month after month in a shelter, with no sanitary pads, no privacy, and no clean water — putting them at extreme risk of infection and death, loss of dignity, and violence.
“Repeated displacement has created deep instability and insecurity, as the airstrikes never truly stop,” said Amal , 36, a case manager for the UNFPA-supported Women’s Affairs Center in the Bureij refugee camp. A mother of three children, she has been displaced four times and lost ten family members when her home was bombed.

UNFPA has reached more than 91,000 people with essential reproductive healthcare and Dignity Kits since conflict began — but with U.S. funding cuts and blockades, delivering aid has become harder and harder.
While UNFPA remains on the ground delivering care despite these challenges, over 160 trucks packed with menstrual health kits, medicines, and supplies are stranded, waiting to enter Gaza.
Meanwhile, a critical funding gap threatens to end these lifesaving efforts: we need $71 million to continue through December 2025.
The crisis is taking an especially harsh toll on women, girls, and newborns. With hospitals under strain, water systems in ruin, famine, and borders tightly shut to humanitarian aid, even their most fundamental needs are unmet. The collapse of water and sanitation services is fueling outbreaks of disease and compounding this emergency.
In the West Bank, violence, movement restrictions, and attacks on health facilities have left more than 230,000 women and girls with little to no access to reproductive health services.
Over 700,000 are struggling without basic menstrual hygiene products due to the devastating fuel and supply shortages.
But you can deliver hope when all is lost for women and girls, if you act quickly. Will you rush an emergency gift to help restore dignity, health, and hope for the future for women and girls enduring unimaginable hardship in Gaza, the West Bank, and crisis-riddled regions around the world?? We condemn the violence in Gaza, the West Bank, and Israel, and hope for a sustained humanitarian ceasefire, the immediate and unconditional release of all hostages by Hamas, and an end to the violence. The suffering must end and peace must prevail.
Together, we can reach those who need us most.
With deep gratitude,
