Patriot,
I’ve devoted my life to advancing the ideas of liberty. Today, that mission
is more urgent than ever.
Millions of American students are being immersed in Marxist ideology — on
campuses funded by you and me.
At a recent conference titled Socialism 2025, a University of Chicago
professor declared:
“We don’t have power... but I work at one of the biggest employers in
Chicago... a place with thousands of people I could potentially organize...
This is where I need to build power.”

She called her own university “evil” — a “colonial landlord.”
Radical views like these — boasted without shame and often funded by American
taxpayers — are a symptom of the intellectual decay that has taken root in
higher education.
I’ve spent decades countering the lies of socialism — as a writer, speaker,
educator, and as former president of theFoundation for Economic Education (FEE)
, a nonprofit devoted to educating the rising generation in the principles of a
free society.
To support FEE in the cause for liberty, I’m giving away my eBook, The XYZ’s
of Socialism, to anyone who donates to FEE today.

When a socialist says he wants to give you “the ABC’s of socialism,” you can
be sure that’s as far into the alphabet as he’ll want to go. Happy talk, vague
promises, political programs, perhaps an angry, envy-soaked tirade or two
against the rich — but not much at all about where all that leads.
That part always gets a little embarrassing…
If we want to end socialist indoctrination, we need to present young people
with a different worldview.
That’s why the Foundation for Economic Education exists!
We teach the truth about socialism: that it is not a dream, but a delusion.
A velvet glove that conceals an iron fist.
A promise of equality that ends in uniform misery.
If America continues down the treacherous path of socialism, we risk not only
our prosperity — but our freedom.
This is precisely why FEE was founded nearly 80 years ago: to stem the tide
of socialism and rekindle the principles of liberty in the next generation.

FEE exists to counter the destructive myths of collectivism and coercion —
and to illuminate the path of human flourishing that only freedom and voluntary
exchange can offer.
Through online media, classroom programs, teacher training, student seminars,
and in-person events, FEE educates and inspires young people with the timeless
principles of liberty, personal responsibility, and free markets.

P.S. It takes education — the right kind — to win the hearts and minds of the
next generation.
For many students, FEE is their first encounter with the fundamental
principles of freedom.
